I decided my outfit today needed a touch of romance for this lovers' holiday. Remembering I had some wired pink ribbon with gold edging, I decided to fashion a belt out of the ribbon and fasten it with a cream flower pin I had sitting on my dresser. To my pleasant surprise, all of it went rather well with my purple dress, especially since I'm always nervous about mixing pink with purple. (The dress didn't look this rumply when I put it on this morning. This is after sitting at my desk all day and going out for dinner.)
The belt along with a pink ruffly sweater was just the thing to get in the spirit without decking myself out in red from head to toe.
