TI love this carb monster I found here.
In my ongoing quest for constant self-improvement, I decided to start a diet on Monday. Its one of those diets where you eat little or no carbs for two weeks and then smartly reintroduce them. My friend's done this and it worked wonderfully, so why the hell not. I dearly love my hard earned beer love handles from college, but its time to bid them farewell.
Of course, in preparation for the diet, I had to eat all the carbs in the house over the weekend since I didn't want to be tempted once I started the diet. This entailed eating pizza, cookies, bread, pasta and burritos. Really the only thing I regret not having was a donut. Luckily, I didn't have to do this bingeing alone, my husband agreed to humor me and go on this diet with me.
Starting Monday, though, it was all protien all the time and not a carb in sight. We've eaten LOTS of bacon. Don't get me wrong, I♥ bacon, but jeeze, what I wouldn't give for a piece of fruit. Sick, right?! What we do in the interest of self-improvement. Maybe it would be healthier to just embrace my inner glutton, but that may be the diet talking.
The goal is to have buns like these soon proclaiming my fondness for bacon. I'll let you know how that turns out.
