Yesterday was my friend Karen's birthday so today I threw her a party. Hoping to combine crafty and spring, I went as Martha Stewart as possible, especially given the requested dessert. I made Martha's poofs and I also tried to coordinate the colors - blue, green and yellow. I lucked out in that Karen had found this cute idea for a party and we adapted it for todays' festivities.
I think we did way better than the kit and out cupcake picks, if not cuter, were certainly more interesting.
I've got to say I'm lucky that our house and especially our kitchen really lend themselves to entertaining guests.
