I recently decided to offer needle felted mustaches on my etsy shop and generally went a little mustache crazy. I originally decided to make a needle felted 'stache for a contest, but it just spiraled from there. I checked etsy and was surprised that needle felted mustaches hadn't been done yet, so I jumped on the opportunity and listed those I had made. I was really excited the other day when one was actually ordered. Ok, well, the person didn't want pink, but black instead and I was happy to oblige. This evening my first mustache sale went out in the mail. I think it may be the first crafty thing I've made that I've sold. Most of my craftiness is foisted on others in the form of gifts.
In other exciting mustache news, the listing for the same mustache that sold, but in the original pink color, was featured in someone's etsy treasury, basically a collection of listings centered around a theme. This treasury's theme was pink, so it was very apropo that The Pink was featured. Hopefully it will draw some attention to my shop.
