We got our bees today, 5lbs. of them. Installation into the hive went well with only a single bee sting. Zach was the bravest of all and dumped the bees into the hive. I helped and tried to get used to having the bees on me.
As you can see from the video, I also gave lots of advice on how to get them out from the carrier into the hive. On a tangential note, I also learned how to rotate a video so that I could post this one. It's not as easy or intuitive as one might think. That may have been more challenging than keeping calm with all the bees flying around.
